Human Design for Compassionate Caregiving

Nurturing self and others

The Caregiver Struggle

Caregiving is one of the most meaningful roles you can take on, yet it often comes with deep exhaustion, frustration, and self-doubt. Many caregivers feel stuck in a cycle of exhaustion, unsure how to meet the needs of their loved ones while also honoring their own well-being. You might ask yourself:

  • Why am I so drained?
  • What am I doing wrong?
  • How do I care for myself when there’s no time or energy left?

Perhaps you’ve been told to “just take a break” or “make time for yourself,” but that advice doesn’t seem to match the reality of your day-to-day responsibilities.

Beneath it all, there’s often a hidden belief that sacrificing your needs is the only way to care for others. We’re here to challenge that belief and help you rediscover balance. It all starts with understanding your unique energy blueprint.

“There are only four kinds of people in the world. Those who have been caregivers. Those who are currently caregivers. Those who will be caregivers, and those who will need a caregiver.” ― Rosalyn Carter

You’re Here Because You Are:

Physically and Emotionally Drained

You’ve been giving your all, and it feels like there’s nothing left. The usual advice to “take a break” feels impractical. You wonder if there’s a way to care for others without losing yourself in the process.

Challenged by boundaries

Boundaries seem like a luxury. You worry if you step back to take care of yourself, you’ll be letting someone down. You want to give your best to those you care for but aren’t sure how to balance their needs with your own.

Seeking More Connection

To you, caregiving is more than a task; it’s an act of love. But lately, it feels more like a burden. You’re searching for a way to bring more compassion, connection, and joy back into your caregiving, but you’re not sure how to get there.

This course is designed for committed, heart-centered caregivers like you who are ready to discover a new way forward. By understanding your unique Human Design, you can bring more balance and authenticity to your caregiving journey without sacrificing your own well-being.

What is Human Design?

Human Design is like a user manual for your unique energy. It combines ancient wisdom traditions with modern science to provide a map of your energetic makeup based on your birth date, time, and location. Your personal body graph reveals:

  • Your energy type and how you best interact with the world
  • Your decision-making authority and how to access your inner wisdom
  • Your unique gifts and potential challenges
  • How you process information and emotions

By understanding your Human Design, you can align with your natural strengths and tendencies, leading to more authentic and effective caregiving practices.

In caring for others, you’ve forgotten how to care for yourself. But what if the key to being a more compassionate, effective caregiver wasn’t about doing more but understanding yourself on a deeper level?

Meet Your Guides

Bonnie and Rhea have walked the caregiving path themselves, deeply understanding both its challenges and joys. Their personal experiences infuse their teaching with empathy, practical wisdom, and a genuine commitment to supporting other caregivers.

Bonnie D'Souza

Bonnie draws on her extensive experience as a former hospice nurse to offer deep, practical insights into the realities of caregiving. Her hands-on understanding of the physical and emotional aspects of end-of-life care is profound. Combining her end-of-life expertise with her passion for Human Design, Bonnie helps make caregiving more personalized and effective for both caregivers and those they support.

This Can Help You

You might be telling yourself that you don’t have the time or energy to try something new or that self-care isn’t possible for you. But that’s exactly why this program exists. We want to meet you where you are.

You don’t need any prior knowledge of Human Design or to figure things out on your own. We’re here to help you uncover what works for you and what doesn’t, using your unique Human Design.

We don’t want you adding more to your plate. Let us guide you toward caregiving in a way that feels aligned and sustainable for you. It is possible to thrive while caring for others, and we’re here to help you do just that.

Sharon Salzberg wisely said, “Part of self-care is knowing who we are, what we want, where our boundaries are, and being able to genuinely be ourselves.”

self-care isn’t selfish—it’s essential

Caregiving isn’t just about what you do—it’s about who you are. By aligning your innate qualities with your compassionate care, you can create a caregiving path that’s not only sustainable but nourishing and meaningful.

How much time should I expect to dedicate to this course each week?

While the live sessions are the core of the program, you’re encouraged to spend a bit of time reflecting on what you’ve learned and integrating it into your daily caregiving routine. We recommend setting aside about 30 minutes a week for any self-reflection, guided exercises, or journaling prompts we provide.

What if I can't attend all the live sessions?

Life as a caregiver can be unpredictable, so we’ve designed this program with flexibility in mind. All sessions will be recorded and made available to you, so you won’t miss out if something comes up. You can watch the recordings at your own pace and still benefit fully from the program.

Do I need to know anything about Human Design before joining?

No prior knowledge of Human Design is necessary! We’ll walk you through everything you need to know, step by step. Our goal is to make it easy for you to apply these insights to your caregiving role, regardless of your experience level.

Is there any one-on-one support available during the course?

Yes, during the live sessions, you’ll have the opportunity to ask questions and receive personalized feedback. We encourage participation and interaction to ensure you’re getting the most out of the experience.
