About the Founder

I’m Rhea, a Certified Thanatologist providing education and support for the end of life. I’m a working end of life practitioner, coach, and spiritual guide.

Before all of that, I’m a bereaved mom, granddaughter, and friend. Two things led me here. The first is the ability to connect with the unseen world, and the second is the deep sorrow of stillbirth.

I love the work I do in end of life education and the contribution I’m making to creating a more intentional and compassionate approach to end of life and deathcare. I also love being with people in circles and retreats as we learn and integrate deep wisdom.

I also have a private practice where I serve my local community in deathcare, education, meditation, and yoga.

I’m most passionate about

  • Facilitating end of life education and wisdom
  • Mentoring leaders and space holders in sacred end of life and death care
  • Help people find a meaningful relationship with death and grief
  • Supporting people as they mourn

My personal and professional journey has consistently led me to explore my inner world deeply. My willingness to understand myself and my bravery to address healing and shadow work has allowed me to serve as a conduit and catalyst for others. This deep and continuous healing work is essential for conscious living and conscious dying.

arriving at death consciously

We don’t arrive at death awake if we haven’t journeyed through life with that same conscious awareness. The journey is internal, and it is communal. When we honor death as a rite of passage with rituals and ceremonies accompanying the journey, we honor the dead, our grief, and our communities. Embracing the practice of preparing for death in compassionate and supportive ways helps us create a deeper connection and understanding of this shared human experience. To live is to die. And it will happen to each one of us.

Here, we hold space for the tenderness of life and death. I hope the impact of conscious living and conscious dying is felt globally, and I know I’m not alone in this vision. I desire to create a supportive community that embraces the vulnerability and courage required to show up with all the emotions and deep wisdom on this journey. I’m thrilled to welcome you to the community!
